What it is
Shopify is a commerce platform that handles products, checkout, payments, and operations. Through its Storefront API it can power a fully custom, headless frontend rather than a themed template.
Why we use it
Merchants need reliable checkout and operations on day one; brands need a storefront that tells a story. Shopify gives us the first so we can spend our time on the second.
